Baldur’s Gate 3 on voittanut vuoden pelin The Game Awards -palkinnon.
Palkinnon luovutti Wonka– ja Dune-tähti Timothée Chalamet. Kiitospuheessaan pelistudio Larian omisti palkinnon kehittäjille, jotka se menetti Covid-pandemian aikana.
Suomalainen Alan Wake 2 oli myös palkittujen joukossa. Se voitti mm. parhaan ohjauksen, parhaan dialogin ja parhaan taiteen pystit.
The Game Awards -tapahtuma lähetettiin suorana 4K-streamina YouTubessa Peacock Theaterista Los Angelesista. Geoff Keighley isännöi tuttuun tapaan videopelien maailmanlaajuista tilaisuutta, jossa palkittiin vuoden 2023 parhaat pelit.
