The Game Awards julkisti vuoden 2023 parhaiden pelien ehdokkaat

The Game Awards 2023 -gaalan ehdokkaat on julkistettu.

Baldur’s Gate 3 ja suomalainen Alan Wake 2 ovat molemmat ehdolla kahdeksan palkinnon saajiksi. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on ehdolla seitsemän palkinnon saajaksi.

Kaikki kolme edellä mainittua peliä ovat ehdolla vuoden pelin palkinnon voittajiksi yhdessä Resident Evil 4:n, Super Mario Bros. Wonderin ja The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomin kanssa.

Game Awards lähetetään suorana lähetyksenä Peacock-teatterista Los Angelesista torstaina 7. joulukuuta.

Viime vuonna yhdeksännen kerran järjestetty vuosittainen tapahtuma oli suuri tuotanto, joka sisälsi musiikkiesityksiä lavalla esiintyvältä orkesterilta ja Hozierilta, julkkisvieraita, palkintogaalan, uusien pelien julkistuksia ja paljon muuta.

Tärkeimpiin julkistuksiin kuuluivat pitkään odotetut paljastukset Hideo Kojiman Death Stranding 2:sta ja BioShockin luojan Ken Levinen uudesta pelistä Judas.

Muita illan aikana julkistettuja uusia pelejä olivat Hades 2, Bayonettan esiosa, ja Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Final Fantasy 16, Diablo 4, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor ja Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League saivat kaikki julkaisupäivät, kun taas Elden Ring ja God of War Ragnarök olivat palkintogaalan suurimmat voittajat.
